Ingredients of Swiss roll

  1. It's of Flour.
  2. You need of Sugar.
  3. You need of Egg 75ml (25g).
  4. Prepare of Vanilla essence.
  5. Prepare of Jam.

Swiss roll step by step

  1. Take a grease free bowl add egg, sugar,and vanilla essence..
  2. Mix lightly to dissolve the sugar..
  3. Start beating the mix till ribbon consistency..
  4. Add all flour to the mixture by cut and fold method..
  5. Pour the mixture in a paper lined Swiss roll tin..
  6. Bake immediately at 200°C for 10-12min..
  7. Soften the mixed fruit jam and keep it aside..
  8. Take out the sponge from the tin. Place it on the brown paper keeping upside down..
  9. Peel the paper from the sponge carefully. Spread the jam on the sponge..
  10. Remove the excess amount of jam else the jam will make the Swiss roll spongy.
  11. Roll it tightly with the help of paper. Keep it in refrigerator for atleast 1/2 hrs before serving..
